Light up your yoyo with Glow Stick!

2 weeks ago,  my friend, Adam Hamzah posted up a yoyo video which he used Glow Stick to attach to his Genesis. Check out his video below

It was really fun to watch it but at the same time, it would be really really great if you can DIY too! And so, i went to buy some Glow Sticks to test out with my Supernova and Genesis. You can get the Glow Stick from any toys shops or especially those shops selling balloons, birthday party stuffs, or halloween stuffs.

REVIEW

After several throws, i came out some pros and cons to share with you all:

Pros: It looks awesome when you play Glow Stick + yoyo in the dark. Definitely a good props if you wanna perform at night or somewhere in the street especially in the public. You will catch everyone attention! There are variety of Glow Stick colours available to suit your mood or your style too. Besides, there are different way of attaching the Glow Stick will give you different pattern. Check out the photos below (left: spinning pattern, right: attach mode)

In this configuration, you would see there are, as if 2 inner glowing rings effects while it is spinning. Yoyo used : Yoyofactory Supernova

If you choose this type of mod, you will see that the glowing ring looks like the weight-ring and the middle glowing point looks like the glowing hubstack. Yoyo used : Yoyofactory Genesis

Cons: Vibe. It could give you a vibe at different level, either high or low. Since the sticks are not glued or tape to the yoyo, it has the potential to come off if you ding the yoyo or while catching it due to impact. If you manage to overcome these two things, your glowing yoyo will be super cool!

NEVERTHELESS, you should try this and see the result by yourself! Btw, thanks to Adam again and enjoy!
